Memorial Service: Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 3:30 PM at the Schipper Funeral Home.
Charles B. Eagan age 65 of Colon passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at his home with is wife by his side.
Charles was born in Sturgis on February 5, 1954 a son of the late Sam and Mary Lee (Sheldon) Eagan.
Charles graduated from Sturgis High School with the class of 1972. Following graduation, he lived in the Sturgis and Colon areas, finally settling in Colon for the last 27 years.
On September 18, 1993 Charles married Christine Louise Pollack in Branch County on River Lake.
Charles Retired from the work force from Maxitrol in Colon working there his final 10 years. He was also known for his exceptional guitar playing skills and was always eager to share them with others.
Charles is survived by his wife, Christine Eagan of Colon, four children; Nicole Souter of Sturgis, Sam (Troy) Eagan of Lake Geneva, WI, Marcie Eagan of Sturgis, Russ Eagan of Howe, one step daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Keese of Colon, and 5 grandchildren; Jacob, Meghan, Ella, Adelynn, and Mason.
Besides his parents Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Eagan.
Following in Charles wish’s cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service celebrating the life of Charles on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 3:30 PM at the Schipper Funeral Home in Colon, Michigan. Condolences may be left for the family at Schipperfuneralhome.com.

Chuck was a really cool guy. He used to hang out at my mom’s house with a bunch of people she worked with. He’ll be missed.

Sure will miss your friendship and talent Egroid. (we gave each other nicknames playing fooseball at the Rusty Nail) Thanks for the nickname Nitro Burner (not the whole name but people that also played with us will know the rest) Hope to see you on the other side. My condolences to the family.

So sorry to the family of Chuck, we went to school together, Holy Angels and High School. Loved listening to him play his guitar and every time I would ask him to play Black Bird, he would!! One of the only people who really could ever play it!! Was a great man. Rest in Peace, black bird fly!!
