Dear Bill and Myrth,
I am very sad to hear about Bonny’s passing. So many memories swirling around in my head at the moment. She was such a wonderful parapro working with me in kindergarten…patient, kind, creative, supportive, and just an amazing mentor for me coming into that job teaching as such a greenhorn. I still have a few photos of when the bunch of us who worked together use to totally dress up and have fun at Halloween with the kids…and I mean totally do a theme together like dressing up as Letter People complete with handmade costumes. And, even to this day I think about some thoughts she passed on to me when I was struggling a bit with a grumpy teenage daughter, “Susan – don’t worry…one day she’ll love you again”; and she was right. Missing you Miss Bonny.

Bill, Myrth and Tom
I just heard about Bonny. I am so sorry. I have such great memories of Bonny when we was in the library. I called her ‘command central’ she was everyone’s sounding board, always knew what was going on, was such a kind and compassionate person. We had many dog story sessions over the years. Certainly someone I will never forget. After, I left teaching at Colon, was always looking for my ‘Bonny’ at other schools. There were replicas, but no one as great as the original.
My heart and prayers go out to you.
