Our most sincere sympathy goes out to the family of Pastor “Bobby” Baxter. He will be missed by many of his former congregation members. He was known to Wayne’s mother, Neva, affectionally as Pastor Bobby for many years…and we in her family always referred to him as such.
When mother died in 1989 we called to ask Pastor Bobby to have her funeral in Durand. He accepted the invitation along with Rev. Maynard Belt. Later when older sister, Julia Peck Duncan, died in 2012 he and Loralee traveled many miles to lead the graveside service for her.
We will always be most appreciative of Pastor Bobby for his kindness and Biblical teachings to our family.
Loralee, you will be in our daily prayers for strength and guidance in the days ahead.
