Funeral Service: Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Burr Oak Missionary Church. Lunch to follow the committal at Adams Cemetery.
Reinald “Ron” A. Lilly age 69 of Burr Oak passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at his home in Burr Oak.
Ron was born on September 4, 1951 in Battle Creek, Michigan, a son of Max and Ethel (Mock) Lilly.
Ron attended and graduated from Bronson High School with the class of 1969.
On June 30, 2001 Ron married Ruth Mathews in northern Michigan, somewhere in the woods.
Ron was a member of the St. Joseph County Fair Board, a board member at the Burr Oak Missionary Church, A Burr Oak School Board Member, a board member for the Burr Oak Fire Department, and a Grange member as well.
Ron is survived today by his Wife Ruth Lilly of Burr Oak, Children: Bessie Luna-Lilly of Sturgis, Charles (Melissa) Lilly of Bronson, Colleen (Andy) Falkenstien of Sturgis, and Lindsey Lilly of Sturgis, Step Children: Jane (Alan) Johnson of Burr Oak, George (Jody) Musall of Howe, Jay Musall of Mishawaka, Joseph Musall of Burr Oak, and Jenny Musall of Burr Oak, his Mother Ethel Slack of Bronson, Siblings: Bonnie (Rick) Farrand, Marilyn (Terry) Carpenter, Carol (Steve) Busby, Linda Lilly, Tina Lilly, and Roseann Lilly, 2 Step Brothers: Lenny and Ronny Slack, Step Sister Cindy Huffman, MANY Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his father Max Lilly, and his Step Father Jerry Slack.
The Lilly family will receive friends and relatives Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Burr Oak Missionary Church with pastor George Milliman officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery in Burr Oak. A luncheon will follow the committal at the church. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to the Dennis Root Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available both at the funeral home and at church.
