Marjorie May Adams

Marjorie May Adams age 88 of Colon passed away, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers.
Marjorie was born a daughter to the late Raymond and Evalyn (Dexter) McKercher on June 25, 1932, in Colon, Michigan.
Marjorie was a graduate of Colon High School in 1950. She would spend her entire life living in Colon. Marjorie worked as a secretary for the Lamb Knit Company in Colon for many years. She was also a member of the Mendon Rovers for several years.
On October 20, 1951 Marjorie married David Adams in Colon at the Bruce and Carol McKercher residence.
Marjorie is survived today by her children: Rick D. (Roxanne) Adams of Lake Orion, MI, Sherry A. (Joseph) Switzenberg of Mendon, and Terry (Rachel) Adams of Colon, grandchildren: John Adams, Leigh Cairo, Amy Elliot, Cole Persons, Dustin Switzenberg, and Kaity, Lexus, and Logan Gentz, 7 great grandchildren, a sister Rose Jackson, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband David Adams in 2001, siblings: Blanch Wood, Betty Warlick, Peg Brown, Bruce McKercher, and Richard McKercher.
Following in Marjorie’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial visitation held at the Schipper Funeral Home on Friday, January 15, 2021 from 1-3 PM.

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Marge’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. I will always remember Aunt Marge out at the Adams farm as a kid.
