Melvin Ray Glasco

Melvin Ray Glasco age 69 of Colon passed away at his home on Monday, February 1, 2021.
Melvin was born in Flint, Michigan on October 15, 1951, a son of the late Willard and Elsie (Earns) Glasco.
Melvin came to Colon as an excavator when the city sewer was being installed and never left. On February 12, 1971 Melvin married Susan Frisbie at the Colon United Methodist Church. Melvin would then work as an excavator in the Colon area the remainder of his life.
Melvin is survived today by his wife Susan Glasco of Colon, a son Michael Ray (Jasmin) Glasco of Lake, Michigan, a daughter Michelle Renee (Don Barton) Glasco of Springport, Michigan, grandchildren: Hailey and James Barton, Andrew, Luke, and Randa Glasco, and great grandsons: Edward and William Glasco.
Besides his parents Melvin was preceded in death by his father-in-law Duane Frisbie, his grandma and grandpa Markley, and sisters: Janice Vanfleet, and Kathy Hill.
Following in Melvin’s Wish’s cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time. Online condolences may be left for the family at: Schipperfuneralhome.com

I’m sorry to hear of Mel’s passing , he was always very friendly and kind to me, we shared the love of Mopars . I hope for strength and healing for his family and friends .

Mel will be truly missed.When we did see each other the conversation always went to cars.He had some great stories.He would stop by the house just to see what was in the garage and too shoot the breeze.God bless your family and remember the good times
