Stanley F. Copenhafer age 79 of Fulton passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at Bronson Methodist Hospital.
Stanley was born on July 13, 1941 in Three Rivers, Michigan, a son of the late George and Alberta (Yeomans) Copenhafer.
Stanley graduated from Mendon High School with the class of 1960.
On August 23, 1960 Stanley married Phyllis Wolf in Leonidas, Michigan at the Leonidas Bible Church.
Stanley worked as a custodian at Comstock Public Schools for 22 years. In his free time, he enjoyed farming.
Stanley is survived today by his wife of 60 years Phyllis Copenhafer of Fulton, 2 sons: Alan (Linda) Copenhafer of Vicksburg and Dean (Connie) Copenhafer of Clinton Township, MI, 2 grandchildren: Jeffrey Copenhafer and Mikel (Janessa) Copenhafer, a great grandson Royce, siblings: Betty Bonnell, Bob Copenhafer, Mary Kardys, and Suzie Copenhafer, and many nieces and nephews.
Stanley was preceded in death by his parents.
The Copenhafer family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 4-6 PM at the Schipper Funeral Home. Following visitation cremation will take place and there will be a burial of ashes to take place in Leonidas Cemetery at a later date.

Stanley was a very sweet man that I had worked with during the summer months at Comstock and through out the school year. I remember Phyllis also from school. Your family has my deepest sympathy at this difficult time. Prayers for you.
