I’m so saddened to hear this. Cheri was one of my favorite cousins growing up. Would love to know where to send flowers in her honor.

My heart aches. She was one of my best friends. Cheri had a heart of gold. She will be missed my me and my family. She was an amazing gift giver and there was no point in telling her no because she insisted. She took us to dinner one night around Christmas time and paid and my 10 year old son was so thankful. He could not believe she would buy him dinner. It was so funny and such a great memory. I feel like I may have come to GT Independence to work, just to be a part of her life. Cheri will leave a hole in my heart forever. She was beautiful inside and out.

I understand just how you feel, Angie. Cheri was my best friend for over 40 years. She was by far the best gift giver I have ever known. We both enjoyed bargain shopping and singing and we used to clip coupons for double coupon day. I pray that God gives you comfort and fills the hole in your heart. That is what he does best!

Hi Jeff, I am so sorry for your loss. I am grieved for Cheri’s short life. I wanted to come to her memorial but I was out of town. My heart was so hurt for you and her. Please know I loved both of you and wished things could have been different. I am in Kalamazoo and heard you were working there also . Hope you are as well as you can be. Let me know if I can do anything for you. Sincerely, Carole Brock

Jeff, I have no words, brother. All the wonderful memories of being in the presence of the Lord in worship with you guys over the years are so much more precious now. Praying our God Who is peace will strengthen you, comfort you, and envelope you in His love.

I had the blessing of working with Cheri she was an amazing friend and co-worker. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others. She will be greatly missed by her GT family and all the many lives she touched while she worked there. May god bless you Cheri as I sure feel blessed that he put you in our lives.

Jeff,
37 years is a long time, but you and cheri had made it, through good times and bad (we all have them sometime in that 37 years). I know you will miss her, and it will take quite awhile to not hurt so much. But know she is in the best place anyone can be. If you need to vent, cry, or laugh, I will always take your calls.
Love Rhonda.

Cheri was one of the most beautiful souls I’ve ever known. Her loss leaves a hole for many of us. I will never forget the kindness she always managed to give out, and I wish the world had more of her, because we would certainly benefit. May she rest in peace.

Jeff, I’m so sorry to hear of Cheri’s sudden passing . I have not talked with her in a very long time but thought of her often. We cheered together in school, she was in my wedding and a very special person. My prayers are with you.
