Visitation: Monday, October 31, 2022, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Schipper Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 11:00 AM also at the Schipper Funeral Home. Luncheon to follow at the Colon American Legion.
Cheryl Ann Harvey age 73 of Colon, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Edgewood Health and Rehabilitation in Three Rivers.
Cheryl was born a daughter to the late Warren & Lula (Howald) Terry, in Coldwater, Michigan on December 12, 1948.
Cheryl attended and graduated from Bronson High School with the class of 1967.
On July 28, 1968, Cheryl married her husband of 54 years, Eugene L. Harvey Jr. in Bronson and the Bronson United Methodist Church.
Cheryl was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed many things in her life, but nothing topped camping with her family, watching her grandkids compete in sports and spending as much time with them as possible, and watching or attending sporting events. She was very fond of football.
Surviving Cheryl is her husband Eugene L. Harvey Jr. of Colon, children: Eugene L. (Cindy) Harvey III of Colon, and Jennifer (Chris) Greenwald of Leonidas, 5 grandchildren: Geno (Holly) Harvey of Bay City, Skyler Harvey of Colon, Brice Harvey of Colon, Zach Greenwald of Leonidas and Jonny Greenwald of Leonidas, brother Rex (Susan) Terry of Fort Wayne, and sister-in-law Linda (John) Phillips of North Carolina.
Preceding Cheryl in death were her parents Warren and Lula Terry.
The Harvey family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, October 31, 2022, at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM. A funeral service celebrating the life of Cheryl will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, also at the Schipper Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 AM. Following in her wish’s cremation will follow funeral services. Interment will take place in Lakeside cemetery at a later date. In lieu flowers the family asks memorial donations to be made to either the Colon Quarter Backs Club or the American Legion Auxiliary. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

So sorry to hear of Cheryl’s passing. She was a great help to my sister, Kathy and I when our mother and brother died and we had the house to empty and sell in 2007. Cheryl was Kathy’s best friend when they were children. I have made a donation to the American Legion Auxiliary in her name.
